"In The Making": "Fly Me To The Moon" (Fanart of Sailor Jupiter) - Sketch (1)

Rough of Sailor Jupiter aka Makoto Kino. I wanna start a new artworks serie called "Fly Me To The Moon". It's also my very first artwork (in the making of course) in Japan. The best thing to exercise myself  a bit and to start a brand new life experience ^^.

Cooking, I wish I could be a good in a kitchen since I consider myself as an epicurian. I love eating out with family and friends, especially in (very) fancy restaurants. I can tell if what I eat or drink is good, but I'm such a terrible cook.

Otherwise, if drawing's my main talent, I'd like to develop it to its fullest. I always wanna improve myself, tryinna be the best and have fun at the same time.

Of course I'd do! I'm not into commissions lately because I wanna focus on my personal projects, but I love hentai in general and I'd like to draw as much hentai arts as possible. I def ain't got no problem with that ;-D

Good bye Geneva... Hello Tokyo!

When you'll read this post, I will gently but surely be on my way to Tokyo. Yep, I'm leaving my hometown of Geneva (Switzerland) for a while to live an exciting life experience in Japan. So what will happen out there? Drawing, working, learning Japanese, meeting my friends and my girlfriend, trying to help people out there... so many things at the same time. I'd like to thank my parents who understood me and helped me a lot to realize this project. I don't know what will happen with the nuclear threat and Fukushima... I just know it's risky. But that's my choice as a man to go right now. I thought about the situation, hesitated, felt so bad about the terrible fate of the Japanese people... But I took my decision: I prefer to live one day as a tiger than 100 years as a passive person. 

My apartment is located in Shinjuku, in Tokyo, and I worked hard to make that dream comes true. Too many frustrated people wanna leave Geneva, thinking the city is the main cause of their unhappiness and negative thoughts. I ain't like that. I love Geneva and Switzerland to death and I'm not trying to escape anything. I'm not a product of any environment, I ain't no victim. The environment is a product of me, that's why I feel I can easily be happy everywhere on this small planet Earth. And for this upcoming part of my life, I'll be happy in Tokyo.

But for now, it's "Good bye Geneva... Hello Tokyo!"

And the most important thing: Pray For Japan!!!

Le retour du forum GameOn.fr

Il fut un temps où j'écumais avec grand plaisir les forums de jeux vidéo et manga (du moins un à la fois)... la dure vie de geek quoi! Je pense que le forum dont je garde les meilleurs souvenirs est celui de www.gameon.fr : j'y ai passé des heures à délirer, y ai fait mes premières expériences au niveau des relations virtuelles, et ai même eu la chance de rencontrer certains membres du forum dans la vraie vie (IRL comme on dit hihi). Le forum, tenu par Jimeo, avait fermé il y a deux années de cela pour réouvrir il y a quelques jours, le 9 juin 2011 ^^

Pour la petite histoire, toute la communauté GameOn squattait allègrement le forum des magazines du groupe de presse FJM (forum rebaptisé Games Connection par la suite), et ce jusqu'au jour où certains administrateurs ont fini par partir en sucette, virer tout le monde... Après maintes migrations de la communauté, nous avons donc décidé de nous installer sur GameOn afin d'être tranquille. Et ce fut un véritable havre de paix. Pour tout vous dire, je suis inscrit sur GameOn depuis 2006! C'est dire si ça date!...

Enfin bref, rejoignez la communauté GameOn, on s'y marre bien !!!

"The Hidden Face Of Mars" (Artwork)

Lately, I didn't have enough time to draw because of all the things I must do before my departure to Japan. Yes, I found an apartment in Tokyo, got my visa, my plane ticket, and I'm about to leave! When? Well, I ain't gonna tell you now, it's gonna be a surprise ;-). An exciting life experience awaits me out there!

I just wanted to show my "Hidden Face Of Mars" ecchi artwork one more time. I love Sailor Senshi in Sailor Moon and I wanted to draw Sailor Mars in a sexy way... Among all my artworks, the "Hidden Face Of Mars" is kinda unknown since it had been censored a lot of times on deviantArt, Facebook, etc...

Enjoy, I do plan to draw a lot of ecchi (if not hentaï) artworks when I'll be in Japan!

Imam Thug - "The Mixcake (Special Edition From QB To Italy)" (Free Mixtape)

Alright, we laughed enough and it's time to listen to some serious Hip-Hop joints. Some people don't know, but my favorite rap style is reality/grimy rap, especially from Queensbridge projects. I got some contacts out there including Killa Sha (RIP), Faul Monday, Cormega and Imam Thug of Militainment Regime (Capone and N.O.R.E.'s rap collective). I recently collaborated with Imam Thug who just dropped a prequel to his upcoming "Mixcake" : "The Mixcake (Special Edition From QB To Italy)" hosted by DJ Piombo.

And for an appetizer before the main dish, shit's definitely hard! Imam wanted to present some of his old songs on this mixtape before dropping his "Mixcake" which will include new materials only. So what do we find here? Dope street joints only with verses of N.O.R.E., Capone, DMX... It's been a long time I haven't heard such a good mixtape. So download it, it's free!

Mike Shooters - "Bric-à-Brac" (Video Clip)

I love when young people do things and I'll always support that. And it's even a greater pleasure to support when the result is good. Mike Shooters is a collective of rappers including ASX (my son), Unconito, Jo2Plainp, Asma-Thônik and M-Atom on the mic plus Arthur aka Prodjection behind the camera. They young, motivated, have a good potential and here's one of their first serious blast: "Bric-à-Brac" video clip.

FYI, my son has a Neko Wear / One Piece t-shirt in the vid. Enjoy.

Tchek - "My Land" (Free Album)

I know I know I'm terribly late! Tchek dropped his album "My Land" a couple of weeks ago but I never had time to listen to it. So the album's free (a free project isn't necessarily a bad project, remember that) and the zip file is full of little bonus such as pictures, comments, songs lyrics... Tchek ain't playing when it comes to spoil the listener! It reminded me of what him and his crew Emeute Infernale did with their USB-memory-stick-mixtape "À l'Ancienne" : you can spend like hours in browsing all the different files.

But what interests us is (of course) the musical aspect of the project. Tchek's well known for his penchant for Electronic music and the mix he created between Hip-Hop, Progressive, Salsa, and even Drum & Bass is definitely convincing. A track like "Extortion" (featuring Rootwords) reminds me of Motoi Sakuraba compositions, it's as surprising as good. And it's just an example among the 13 tracks of "My Land" (plus the bonus tracks).

In short, lots of good things, entertaining and creative music. Nowadays, everybody tryinna produce Trap joints like Lex Luger. It's good that Tchek sticks to his universe, does his things and doesn't care about the rest. Cuz good music doesn't need to be fashionable right?

I got a question for you: what's old school Hip-Hop for a 15 years old kid? 50 Cent, Lil' Wayne? Well, it ain't necessarily the case. DJ Vidy's surely young, 15, but has certainly much more urban musical culture than a lot of older people. His classics? GangStarr (kid loves DJ Premier), A Tribe Called Quest... Old stuffs only! But don't be scared, the young gun's also into more recent stuffs such as Rick Ross and his MMG clique.

Shade Sheist's new single "Queen": OUT NOW

Yep, you already know I did draw the art cover of Shade Sheist brand new single "Queen" featuring Latoiya Williams. And I have 2 good news ;-) !

- Firstly, the single is finally available on Amazon, iTunes, etc.

- Secondly, "Queen" became Sheist's top single and #2 selling single overall iTunes (just behind the classic joint "Where I Wanna Be") !

So I just wanted to give him a special shout out. It's always good to have that kinda news, especially when you're a part of the project ^^ !
