Waka Flocka x French Montana "Lock Out" (Free Mixtape"

Damn! I've been waiting for this combination for such a long time! I kinda appreciate Wacka Flocka's style when I turn off my brain... His crunkish-trappish album "Flockaveli" did destroy my ears and the speakers of my car, and I still bump that record when I feel angry or wanna get some motivation. Concerning French Montana, I always digged is style and smooth flow since he dropped his "Laundry Man" and "Mac & Cheese" mixtape series. Still waiting for an official release tho... But he surely did great with Cocaine City. In brief: both of them do great things, especially when they spit some bars together.

So when I heard Waka and French released a common project, I became nuts for the reasons cited above. But after the excitement came the deception. "Lock Out" is ordinary and offers nothing special. I mean it's good, but there's nothing particular at all. If you don't like Waka and French, this mixtape won't help you to...

Kid Springs "Project Dreams" & "S.A.M.E." (album & mixtape)

One year ago, former Cocaine City (French Montana's label) artist Kid Springs asked me to draw the album cover of his anticipated album "Project Dreams". That was supposed to be his first major release with Universal record, but due to artistic misunderstanding, Springs felt he had to leave the label. That's what happens when you're making real street music... The result's that the official release of "Project Dreams" been often postponed and finally cancelled. That's the reason why the album is now available for free. It features collaborations with great producers and artists such as Kanye West, Just Blaze, The Alchemist, Ray J and DJ Felli Fell. Too bad...

Known for his battle skills and his beef with Young Money's artist Cory Gunz, Kid Springs is currently signed to EMI. He already worked with artists such as Lady Gaga, Trey Songz, Raekwon, Three 6 Mafia, Ice Cube, The TrackmastersLil Jon, Akon to name a few. I wish him all the best for his artistic future.

And be sure to listen to his mixtape "S.A.M.E" (for "Shoot All My Enemies") as well!
